How to Find Paint Codes
General Motors – Usually Starts with a U. Mostly found in the glove box or spare tire compartment. If mixing Wanda Type WA in place of the U. If mixing in No mix just use the numbers and letters. Drop the U


Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep – In the driver’s door jamb, 3 Letter Code Next to PNT:
Toyota – Lexus, Scion, Diahatsu: Always in the driver’s door jamb. 1st three numbers and letters before the slash.
Nissan – inside driver’s door jamb
Honda – Inside driver’s door jamb. Starts with a NH, YR, or B. Usually has a sticker just for the Paint code.
Sometimes it will be on the vin sticker
BMW – Under the hood. 1st three numbers and letters before the slash
Volkswagen – In the spare tire compartment. Usually start with an L
Land Rover – Inside driver’s door jamb
Hyundai – Inside driver’s door jamb.
Mercedes Benz – Older models will have the paint code under the hood.
Newer models will have the paint code in the driver’s door jamb. Will start with a C_ _ _
